1. Who this covers

This policy covers the website at fernlevel.com. “Fernlevel”, “we” and “us” in this document mean the operator of that site — not a listed trading company. Write to hello@fernlevel.com.

The site publishes workshop notes on immersive environment design. It does not run accounts, a shop, or advertising cookies.

2. What is collected

Collection stays at what is needed to serve pages and to answer messages you choose to send.

• Technical data. Your browser sends an IP address, browser type, operating system and the page requested. Hosting logs may keep this for a short period to keep the site up and to investigate abuse.
• Messages you send. If you email hello@fernlevel.com or use the form (which opens a mail draft on your device), the contents of that message — typically a name, email address and the question — are used only to reply.
• Fonts. Pages load type from Google Fonts. That request is made by your browser to Google’s servers and is covered by Google’s own policies.

3. What is not collected

• No user accounts, passwords, or payment details — this site does not take payments.
• No advertising identifiers, no analytics cookies, no “do not sell” toggle, because personal data is not sold and ads are not measured from this page.
• No third-party account sign-in.

4. Why data is used

• To deliver the pages you ask for (legitimate interest in operating the site).
• To answer an enquiry you sent (steps at your request, or legitimate interest in correspondence).
• To keep the site secure (legitimate interest).

If you write from a place covered by the GDPR, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of personal data held about you, and you may complain to a supervisory authority. To use those rights, email hello@fernlevel.com.

5. Sharing

Hosting providers see server logs as part of running the site. Mail providers see messages you send to hello@fernlevel.com. Data is not sold. It is not shared for advertising.

6. Retention

Logs are kept only as long as the host needs for security and operations. Enquiry emails are kept as long as the conversation is active and then a short period afterwards in case of follow-up, unless you ask for deletion sooner.

7. Children

The notes are written for adult practitioners. The site is not directed at children.

8. Changes

The date at the top will change if this policy changes. Continued use of the site after an update means the new text applies to later visits.
